Music is for everyone

I grew up sitting around the table with my halmoni after dinner saying, “Now, I’ll sing my favorite song.” Then, she turned to my Umma and said,”Now, You sing your favorite song.” AFter that, it was my turn. The pure art of song is one of the everyday joys of life.

music is my touchstone

my umma signed me up for my first piano lesson when I was 2 years old. I saw an older classmate sing on stage and thought, “I can do that, too.” when I was a teenager, I put up a flyer on the bulletin board at my local library offering piano lessons for $8. I majored in music education with vocal emphasis and after graduation from Hartt, I joined a rock band and began performing in films and theatre. throughout, I serve my community to pass on the flame of the performing arts.

i love to create

services: singing, acting, songwriting, label services, photography, vocal production, production, consulting, coaching, teaching. music classes offered through mindbody with kpca

when i’m not performing, I love to coach performers.

I seek kind, creative, courageous people to create beauty with and make meaningful memories together. we are courageously committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and anti-racism best practices. since a teen serving as a “peer leader” at my high school, taking part in programs like any town/city school/serving as a teen “into the circle” anti-bullying facilitator, volunteering at the asian task force against domestic violence, and now as an adult serving as an “art activist” on community panels on race, and partnering with organizations like IBIS consulting as an actor helping major brands with innovative solutions like interactive theatre trainings, and oca and kids&art org as volunteer gala performer, I continue to grow and take steps to make the circles I am part of safer and more kind.

thank you for being on this adventure together!

    with Love, Katherine Park
